Southern West Virginia is filled with beautiful recreational and cultural areas.  The New River with its white water rafting and bridge day is one example.  Kanawha County has the Clay Center and the West Virginia Cultural Museum.  Logan County has Chief Logan State Park.  The park is often the center of activity for Logan Countianians.  Most of us have at least one story about a life event that centered around the park.  Here is a digital story by students JR Blevins and  Kasey Trout about Chief Logan State Park.  http://www.teachertube.com/view_video.php?viewkey=066c1278b2d2e4ed7b19
